Beth Wilson the Autistic Digital Artist

Image
Beth Wilson is a 36-year-old digital artist from Portishead, which is a town in England. She is best known for her autism-focused works in Doodlecats and at a website called doodlebeth.com.  Websites: https://twitter.com/doodlebeth https://www.facebook.com/doodlebeth/ https://doodlebeth.com/ https://www.doodlecatsshop.co.uk/ https://metro.co.uk/2018/04/21/these-10-artists-prove-autism-is-no-barrier-to-creativity-7446895/ According to Metro, she said, " I  have always been creative and ever since getting my first cat, have been obsessed with cats. I started Doodlecats when I combined my two passions and now I create all sorts of cat-themed goodies. Being autistic means that I am very passionate about my special interests and I think that helps drive me to be successful. I’ve also started a second business creating art about autism to help educate people about an often misunderstood condition. It has helped me express myself in a way that I haven’t been able to before."

A Supervillain for the Comic

Image
A lot of superhero comics have to have a supervillain in order to challenge the superhero both physically and mentally. Vex is going to be the main supervillain for my comic. Vex wears brown and possibly dark robes with boots and gloves along with a medallion around his neck. He has black hair, yellow eyes, pointy ears, red skin, and has tattoos on his face. Vex is a ruthless and skilled mercenary who is not afraid to kill anyone who stands in his way. He too has mind powers like the main superhero who can give people nightmarish hallucinations and can control people's minds. Having a villain for the main protagonist will help her journey to become a superhero since he will become a threat to her.

A Supporting Character for My Comic

Image
I thought a supporting character would be good for the comic because it may help with the story. Jacolyn "Jackie" Blaze is a teenaged girl who is considered to be Khalifa Rose's best and only friend who tries to convince her that being different is not a bad thing. As I posted in a previous post about Khalifa having trouble making friends with her social distancing and unusual behavior, such as her mind powers. Jackie does not have a disability like her friend but she tries her best to be her friend despite her temper and impatience. Jackie is also a metahuman like Khalifa but her powers are different. Jackie has p yrokinesis, which  is a psychic ability that allows someone to make and control fire with the mind. her superhero name is called "PyroStorm" because of her ability. In her normal appearance, Jackie has black, long hair with a blue jean jacket, a fire t-shirt, blue shorts, and boots. In her superhero form, she has a full red leathered bodysuit that is ...

Stephen Wiltshire has Autism who can Draw Extremely Detailed Cityscapes with Brief Glances

Stephen Wiltshire's London Panorama: Stephen Wiltshire is an autistic artist who has an incredible photographic memory that can visualize the form and location of hundreds of London's buildings on a precise range from his helicopter ride alongside the Thames. Throughout the next five days, he was able to draw the seven-square mile scenery on a 13ft curving canvas that consists of landmarks, such as the Swiss Re tower, and Canary Wharf. It is considered amazing that Wiltshire did not consult notes, initial sketches, or photographs when making his scale drawing. His drawing even contains the exact number of skyscraper floors.   Video Links of Other Places Stephen Wiltshire drew: Stephen Wiltshire draws NYC for UBS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsJbApZ5GF0 Stephen Wiltshire's Singapore Panorama.
