According to Metro, she said, "I have always been creative and ever since getting my first cat, have been obsessed with cats. I started Doodlecats when I combined my two passions and now I create all sorts of cat-themed goodies. Being autistic means that I am very passionate about my special interests and I think that helps drive me to be successful. I’ve also started a second business creating art about autism to help educate people about an often misunderstood condition. It has helped me express myself in a way that I haven’t been able to before."
